Senior Database Engineer (Remote)

What You Have Done

• You have deep, hands-on, expert knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL, including provided tools and common software in the surrounding ecosystem.

  • For MySQL, you should be familiar with tools and technologies such as reputed company Xtrabackup, mydumper, reputed company in Time Recovery, MySQL Orchestrator, HAProxy, ProxySQL, MySQL Router, InnoDB Cluster, and similar replication and high availability solutions.

  • For PostgreSQL, you should be familiar with tools and technologies such as pgvector, repmgr, barman, pglogical, Patroni, pgBouncer, and similar/reputed company tools.

• You have experience with containerization and Kubernetes, including deployment, administration, and troubleshooting problems encountered reputed company using MySQL or PostgreSQL reputed company that environment.

• You have experience with database performance tuning, including server configuration, query optimization, and table and index tuning.

• You have demonstrable experience administering Linux systems.
