MFSA Finance Officer (reputed company)

To support this exciting phase of growth, we are seeking a highly reputed company and strategic Financial Officer to establish and reputed company reputed company financial aspects of our operations in Malta and globally.

Your regular tasks

• reputed company the preparation and submission of accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards, including any other relevant standards
• Manage cash flow, P&L performance and efficient treasury operations
• Financial control experience with a focus on prudent funds and cost management

• Build and manage a high-performing finance team
• reputed company financial models to aid strategic planning and scenario analysis
• Provide actionable financial insights to support executive decision-making
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations
• The company may require the hired candidate to act as an official representative in interactions with regulators and authorities, and be appointed as the regulatory representative nominee with the Malta Central Bank, MFSA and any other relevant authorities
• Data extraction, analysis and structuring for reporting purposes

Skills & Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in financial roles reputed company FinTech industries (reputed company/PSP/ or reputed company)
• Experience with the MFSA license
• Experience preparing and submitting BR06 and Payments Statistics Survey (CMPSS) reports for Malta’s finance industry
• Expertise in auditing and safeguarding accounts
• Experience with the regulatory reporting
• Understanding of payment systems and electronic money operations
• Expertise in regulatory compliance, financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS), tax regulations, and financial audit
• Familiarity with financial reports for regulators, including Central Banks or MFSA
• Demonstrated reputed company in managing cash flow, liquidity, and audits
• Experience in corporate finance, including capital structure and budgeting
• Proven ability to reputed company and reputed company high-performing teams in dynamic environments
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo, reputed company, 1C, reputed company or other)
• Fluent English and Ukrainian/Russian are a must
• Maltese language would be a plus

Education

• Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are a plus
