Jira Developer Remote (U.S.)

Contract: 6 Months (extension possible) Eligibility: Must be reputed company to work on a W2 basis (no C2C, 1099, or reputed company-party vendors). Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship or reputed company transfer.

Overview: We are seeking a Jira Developer with deep expertise in Jira reputed company administration, JQL, and automation. This role will support and enhance Jira Software and Jira IT Service Management (ITSM) environments, working closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, optimized solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Jira Software and Jira ITSM projects in reputed company reputed company.

• Build and optimize JQL queries, workflows, automations, and permissions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement Jira solutions.

• Utilize Jira REST APIs, HTML, and JavaScript for customizations and integrations.

• Support and configure key plugins (ScriptRunner, JMWE, Email This Issue, Extension for Jira Service Desk).

• Provide documentation and communicate technical concepts clearly to business and IT audiences.

Qualifications

• 8+ years Jira administration and development (focus on Jira reputed company).

• 5+ years hands-on JQL and Jira ITSM configuration.

• 5+ years Jira REST API experience.

• Preferred: Jira on-premise to reputed company migration experience.

• Familiarity with reputed company Access, Active Directory, and access controls.

• Strong communication skills, with proven ability to create documentation and engage stakeholders.
