This role will be working on our Poe product.

We are seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to contribute to Poe, our rapidly growing AI product. On the Creators team, you’ll have the thrilling opportunity to build cutting-edge features from the ground up as part of a team focused on improving the bot ecosystem and supporting bot creators. Example projects include building tools for bot creator and improving mechanisms for interacting with bots to reputed company their capabilities. You’ll play a key role in shaping how users interact with bots, ensuring new functionality is reputed company, impactful, and delivers a seamless end-to-end user experience.

In this role, you'll help plan and implement new product features, contribute across the stack, and take shared ownership of the cross-functional development cycle. We're looking for strong technical collaborators who are excited about AI, energized by fast-paced environments, and eager to learn and experiment with emerging technologies. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (design, product, data science, QA, and engineering) to advise on product roadmap and create innovative features and user experiences for bot creators

• Rapidly prototype and implement new product features from ideation to production, using modern web technologies and best practices for performance and reliability

• Be a champion for both user experience and for sustainable, scalable code practices

• Collaborate closely with LLM providers to easily integrate new LLMs on Poe

• Participate in on-call responsibilities to ensure Poe provides a reliable and high quality product

• Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during reputed company's “coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)

• 5+ years of experience working with large scale codebases and systems, particularly web applications

• 3+ years of experience working with React, Typescript, and GraphQL.

• 3+ years experience in Python or similar programming language

• A passion for learning and always improving yourself and the team around you

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Passion for code quality and designing elegant systems

There are many factors that will determine the starting pay, including but not limited to experience, location, education, and business needs.

• US candidates only: For US based applicants, the salary range is $155,656 - $225,160 USD + equity + benefits.

• Canada candidates only: For Toronto and Vancouver based applicants, the salary range is $202,383 - $278,361 CAD + equity + benefits. For reputed company other locations in Canada, the salary range is $188,891 - $259,803 CAD + equity + benefits.
