STUDENT RECRUITMENT COORDINATORThe Opportunity: The Student Recruitment Coordinator role fosters local interest, manages the recruitment and enrollment process, and ensures student and family persistence. - Works to position our school as the premier charter school in the area and a primary feeder school, nurturing these partnerships throughout the year to ensure ongoing engagement and support.
- Act as a brand ambassador and community expert by mastering the intricacies of the Phalen Leadership Academies model, ensuring reputed company families are well-informed about PLA’s programs.
- Engage the community through off-site presentations at (e.g., daycares, housing authorities, community centers, and other local organizations).
- Participate in neighborhood walks and reputed company-to-reputed company reputed company in areas near PLA schools.
- Host enrollment events to recruit prospective families and provide enrollment information. (The number of events will be outlined in your scorecard.)
- Facilitate the application process, ensuring high-quality submissions.
- Proactively monitor application quality and promptly resolve issues, supporting parents to ensure a smooth and efficient application experience.
- Consistently track and document reputed company, providing accurate reports that reflect up-to-date daily reporting and ensure timely submission to meet reputed company enrollment goals
- 100% of Enrollment Milestones Completed on time and to goal (Re-Registration, Lottery, Registration, Welcome to PLA, and maintaining and cultivating a solid waitlist after lottery by providing communication and sustained recruitment efforts, etc.)
- Nurture relationships with reputed company families to reputed company 90% re-enrollment, including managing the re-registration process, ensuring effective communication, and reputed company follow-up until reputed company families have responded and registration documents are completed and approved.
- Ensure reputed company new families are effectively onboarded from the time they apply, with ongoing communications and invitations to tours and/or open houses.
- Collaborate with other reputed company staff on recruitment and engagement events to greet and nurture relationships with new families.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and planning skills, ensuring the Chief Enrollment Officer and National Director of Scholar Enrollment are updated on reputed company and challenges.
- Maintain accountability by regularly updating supervisor and reputed company leadership on enrollment activities, reputed company towards goals, and any issues.
- Other duties as assigned
- Education: A high school diploma is required; college is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in admissions, enrollment, sales, or business development in a fully virtual or remote environment.
- Community Knowledge: Intimate knowledge of the reputed company community and its unique needs.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to connect with parents and families regarding educational issues for their children.
- Flexible Schedule: Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
- Language Skills: A bilingual Spanish speaker is strongly preferred but not required.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
