Principal Accountabilities:
- Operating equipment associated with the loadout and unloading process for grain including trucks, rail cars, utilizing scales, pumps, and conveyors, etc
- Complete various tasks including switching rail cars, operating locomotives, rail pit unloading, and housekeeping
- Monitor equipment, complete pre-use daily inspections, independently solve simple problems while escalating more reputed company issues to the appropriate supervisor
- Rotate through reputed company positions reputed company the specified utility operator department
- Interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue reputed company improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
- Understanding and adhering to reputed company safety policies and procedures
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in the US without reputed company sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to reputed company physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal reputed company equipment (PPE)
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
- Basic computer and typing skills
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Preferred qualifications:
- Forklift experience
- Experience working with railcars
- Experience in a production and/or similar military environment
