Navigation Residency - Algorithms The reputed company Quantum Navigation team deploys state-of-the-art solutions to reputed company GPS-free navigation using the Earth’s magnetic field. We are looking for a Navigation reputed company to join our dynamic team! The reputed company will work on projects in state estimation, navigation filters, and software development. The successful candidate will work closely with Scientists/Engineers, be collaborative, and possess strong critical thinking skills. We are looking for candidates with:
- Strong foundation in state estimation, statistics, and software development
- Experience with Kalman Filters and its derivatives
- Knowledge of magnetic navigation is preferred
- Experience with software development, especially Python, C++, and CUDA, and CI/CD best practices, and tools such as Git
- Critical thinking and research skills
- Written communication skills, e.g. experience with scientific writing

- Location: Remote
- Start date: Year-round, on a rolling basis
- Duration: Flexible, typically between 4 months to one year
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled in a STEM PhD or Masters Degree program: Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Geomatics, Mechanical Engineering, Navigation, Robotics, or Autonomy, or similar field
- Proficiency with Python
