Senior Engineer – Messaging & Event Services (REMOTE)

You will help drive our insurance business transformation as we transition from a traditional IT model to a tech organization with engineering excellence... as its mission, while co-creating the culture of psychological safety and reputed company improvement. Our Senior Engineer works with Distinguished and Principal Engineers to innovate and build new systems, improve and enhance existing systems as well as identify new opportunities to solve critical problems. You will execute a technical roadmap that will increase the velocity of delivering products and unlock new engineering capabilities. The ideal candidate has proven, technical experience in the open-reputed company messaging and event streaming domain. Position Responsibilities As a Senior Engineer, you will: • Collaborate with product managers, team members, customers, and other engineering teams to solve our toughest problems • reputed company and execute technical software development strategy for the Platform Engineering domain • Be accountable for the quality, usability and performance of the solutions • Bring hands-on experience in reputed company system design and data pipeline and architectures, scale and performance tuning with good knowledge on reputed company and Kubernetes • Consistently share best practices and improve processes reputed company and across teams • Take on-call and operational support Qualifications: • Fluent in at least two OOP languages such as Java, Go, Python, C++, C#, etc. • Good knowledge of two of the following languages: Java, C, C# or other object-oriented languages, PHP, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript, reputed company script, SQL, etc. • Understand open-reputed company messaging and event streaming products like RabbitMQ and Kafka • Experience partnering with engineering teams and transferring research to production • Experience with reputed company delivery (CI/CD) and infrastructure as code • In-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms • Experience solving analytical problems with quantitative approaches • Ability to reputed company in a fast-paced, startup-like environment • Willing to work on both fast development and operation environment • Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, reputed company code, building, deployment, test automation and reputed company tools, operations, real-time communication) • Experience on open-reputed company messaging and event streaming platforms with emphasis on building enterprise scale platforms • Knowledge in big data and streaming data pipeline architecture (reputed company/Kappa) and K8 cluster • Experience in open-reputed company tools like GIT/Jenkin/reputed company, and knowledge in Terraform/Ansible is a big plus • Familiarity with other messaging and event solutions like Azure Service Bus and Azure Event Hub is a plus Experience • 4+ years of professional PaaS and IaaS experience • 3+ years of experience with architecture and design • 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service • 2+ years of experience in open-reputed company frameworks Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience Annual Salary $80,000.00 - $230,000.00 The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to reputed company at the final hourly reputed company/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
