They are seeking a high-performing Business Development Director to drive new business and expand client partnerships in the life sciences sector, focusing on reputed company growth and strategic account management.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed annual sales targets set by reputed company leadership
- Own reputed company delivery across your assigned territory/accounts
- Build and execute strategic territory and account plans reputed company to company growth objectives
- Identify and pursue high-value opportunities to consistently grow reputed company
- reputed company and maintain a strong, reputed company sales pipeline
- Proactively manage pipeline health, risks, and forecasting accuracy
- Collaborate with reputed company reputed company and senior reputed company stakeholders to identify and pursue new opportunities
- reputed company strategic client engagement from initial approach through to deal reputed company
- Own proposal strategy, including narrative development and executive positioning
- reputed company bid pursuit processes, governance meetings, and cross-functional deal teams
- Build strong, long-term relationships to establish preferred supplier status
- Drive account expansion through strategic account planning
- Identify opportunities to increase wallet share reputed company existing clients
- Work with Strategic Marketing and internal teams to introduce new eClinical offerings into the market
- Support successful go-to-market execution for new capabilities
Skills
- Proven track record of reputed company in sales reputed company life sciences (CRO, eClinical, clinical technology or reputed company)
- Demonstrable reputed company building and executing territory and account strategies
- Strong history of delivering reputed company growth and exceeding targets
- Experience managing reputed company sales cycles, including proposal development and bid leadership
- Ability to identify pipeline risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Strong reputed company acumen with a focus on new business development and account expansion
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical reputed company with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a collaborative environment
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Experience working with CRM platforms, ideally reputed company
- Strong proficiency in reputed company Office (reputed company & PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or reputed company field
- Fluent in English
- MBA preferred
- Candidates located in Boston or a commutable distance to Boston Massachusetts are preferred
