Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor live chat activity on the arenaflex community platform (formerly Discord) to identify and address rule violations promptly.
  • Delete messages that contain profanity, hate speech, spam, or any content that breaches community guidelines.
  • Issue temporary mutes to users who exhibit minor infractions, providing clear feedback on the reason for the action.
  • Enforce permanent bans for repeat offenders or individuals who pose a serious threat to community safety.
  • Investigate user‑submitted reports, gather evidence, and document findings in a structured moderation log.
  • Collaborate with the arenaflex Community Management Team to refine moderation policies and suggest improvements based on emerging trends.
  • Participate in weekly moderation debriefs to share insights, discuss challenging cases, and align on best practices.
  • Provide courteous and helpful guidance to community members who may be unfamiliar with the rules, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with arenaflex’s evolving product roadmap, especially the upcoming social media app and banking features, to anticipate new moderation needs.

Essential Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience (paid or volunteer) in online moderation, community management, or customer support.
  • Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail and a calm, professional tone.
  • Ability to work independently while adhering to a flexible schedule that aligns with the weekly pay cycle (Monday – Sunday).
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a quiet workspace suitable for remote work.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Familiarity with arenaflex’s community platform (formerly Discord) and its moderation tools.
  • Experience handling conflict resolution and de‑escalation in real‑time chat environments.
  • Basic understanding of internet safety, privacy standards, and digital harassment policies.
  • Passion for technology education and an interest in programming languages or digital product development.
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones and adapt to peak activity periods.
  • Previous exposure to equity‑focused organizations or initiatives is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $12.50 per hour, paid weekly (Monday through Sunday). In addition to monetary compensation, arenaflex provides:
