Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Data Entry Team Lead to join our Ohio distribution center. This full‑time role blends hands‑on data entry, call support, and customer assistance with leadership responsibilities. Working Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST, you will guide a team of associates, ensure operational excellence, and act as a critical bridge between the floor and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of data entry specialists, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with the Department Manager and senior leaders to align daily activities with broader strategic goals.
  • Conduct regular one‑on‑one coaching sessions, performance reviews, and skill‑building workshops.
  • Allocate staff to workstations based on workload forecasts, ensuring balanced responsibilities and meeting operational metrics.
  • Maintain transparent, positive communication channels to keep the team informed of policy changes, performance expectations, and best practices.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee the end‑to‑end data entry workflow, guaranteeing accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with arenaflex standards.
  • Utilize reporting tools, dashboards, and system alerts to identify bottlenecks or errors and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with the Department Manager to assess staffing needs, schedule shifts, and manage overtime while staying within budget.
  • Support the Department Manager on an as‑needed basis to ensure seamless day‑to‑day operations.
  • Execute additional duties delegated by the Manager, adapting quickly to evolving priorities.

Training & Development

  • Design and deliver onboarding programs for new hires, covering data entry protocols, safety procedures, and customer interaction guidelines.
  • Monitor attendance and performance records, providing constructive feedback and recognizing high achievers.
  • Promote a safe work environment by enforcing proper equipment usage and adherence to safety policies.

Customer & Partner Interaction

  • Provide clear, courteous, and efficient communication with internal partners and external customers, ensuring data is transferred accurately across shifts.
  • Address escalated customer inquiries, resolve data discrepancies, and maintain a high level of service satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather customer requirements and translate them into actionable operational plans.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and calculate with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and warmly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Solid experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic computer literacy.
  • Strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Leadership aptitude, including delegation, goal‑setting, and leading by example.
  • Willingness to work beyond a standard 40‑hour week when business needs dictate.
  • Immediate availability to attend required training sessions and certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a distribution center or similar logistics environment.
  • Associate degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with data‑driven performance metrics and continuous‑improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Experience training or mentoring teams in a high‑volume setting.
