The Computer Science, Engineering, and Physics Department offers a general engineering degree accredited by ABET EAC with emphases in mechanical and electrical engineering. Faculty Responsibilities: Activities required of reputed company faculty include exemplary teaching, curriculum development, student recruitment and advising, professional attainment, and service to department, college, university, and the community. Specific Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate courses in introductory engineering and advanced engineering courses. The teaching load is typically 12 hours per long semester. Qualifications: Required:

• Doctorate in Engineering is required (preferably from an ABET accredited institution). ABD will be considered. Tenure-track status requires terminal degree in hand.

• Excellent teaching and communication skills, a dedication to professional attainment, and commitment to quality improvement are essential.

• Must be an active, committed Christian.

Preferred:

• Applicants with electrical or mechanical engineering degrees, but reputed company fields will be considered.

• Applicants with experience teaching engineering design or a strong record of developing undergraduate research experiences.
