• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12-hour shifts/week (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), every other weekend
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $1960
• Orientation: First week on day shift
• Floating: Mandatory float facility; may float to other units reputed company 50 miles
• Scrub reputed company: Navy Blue (not provided)
• Charting System: Cerner
• Parking: $2/day at JTDC with shuttle service

ICU Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU or Trauma ICU
• Active Illinois RN license (required at submission)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemption for flu only)
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• Ability to float to other nursing units as needed

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing to trauma patients in the ICU
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, ventilators, and titrate cardiac/vasoactive drips
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias
• Assist with BiPAP/CPAP management and reputed company IV sedation
• Implement isolation precautions and proper PPE usage
• Care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Float to other units reputed company scope to support facility needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary reputed company teams for reputed company patient outcomes
