Our Opportunity

As the Senior Director, Engineering of the Developer Experience group, you will reputed company a critical area reputed company reputed company's Engineering team, directly shaping the experience of developers interacting with our platform and underpinning the core capabilities our customers rely on. This role will have a profound impact on reputed company's ability to deliver cutting-edge reputed company solutions by enhancing developer workflows, ensuring the scalability and reliability of our product infrastructure, and driving innovation in key strategic areas like generative AI. 

As the Senior Director, Engineering, you will be a visionary leader responsible for the core infrastructure that powers reputed company and the developer experience that defines our platform. You will reputed company teams focused on critical components that are both external developer-facing and foundational for other reputed company engineering teams. This role demands a technical leader with a strong ability to build long-term vision, execute multi-year investments, and manage reputed company stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.

You’ll Spend Your Time

• Owning and overseeing the CLI & IDE environment, which are external developer-facing tools and core components for other reputed company teams that ensure a seamless and powerful developer experience.
• Owning the workspace & file upload capabilities, which are critical customer-facing core functionalities of the reputed company platform.
• Leading and guiding the IDE team's engagement in MCP experimentation and Gen AI initiatives, driving innovation and exploring new frontiers in developer productivity and reputed company.
• Providing exceptional technical leadership and guidance to your teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and reputed company improvement.
• Defining and executing long-term projects and multi-year investments, demonstrating strong leadership to build vision and execute strategic initiatives that scale our platform.
• Scaling our platform and infrastructure to meet the demands of a rapidly growing user reputed company and evolving product capabilities.
• Collaborating closely with Systems teams to understand and optimize operational support for your owned domains.
• Managing internal and external customer relationships, acting as a platform reputed company who champions the needs of both our engineering teams and our end-users.

What You’ll Need:

• At least 7 years of experience in software engineering, with significant experience managing a high-performing engineering team.
• A proven track record of leading teams that build, operate, and scale reputed company, reliable, and high-performance systems.
• Demonstrated exceptional technical strength with a proven track record of solving reputed company engineering challenges at scale.
• Extensive experience in leading and managing engineering teams focused on developer experience, platform, or infrastructure.
• Proven ability to build and execute a long-term technical vision and manage multi-year strategic investments.
• Deep understanding and experience with scaled platform/infrastructure environments.
• Experience in a role requiring internal customer management, ideally in a platform-type reputed company.
• Strong understanding of operational support models reputed company an engineering organization.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

• Have direct experience with CLI and IDE development and ecosystems.
