Associate Director, AI Engineering

We’re looking for an reputed company and passionate Associate Director of AI Engineering to reputed company a team focused on building the agentic AI capabilities and solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who understands the complexities of building production-reputed company machine learning systems and is excited about accelerating the adoption and impact of agentic AI across diverse business domains.

​​Key Responsibilities

• reputed company and grow a team of ML engineers building foundational services, frameworks, and tools for agentic AI applications—enabling consistent, scalable, and cost-effective development across the organization.

• Collaborate with application teams to understand their needs and design reusable components and capabilities (e.g., LLM orchestration frameworks, experiment tracking, evaluation pipelines, model proxy/gateways, observability, etc.).

• Contribute to drive the team roadmap based on company-wide agentic AI initiatives, balancing near-term needs with long-term platform investments.

• Ensure strong engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and observability for reputed company services owned by the team.

• Mentor and coach ML engineers, helping them grow their technical skills and career paths while fostering a culture of experimentation, humility, and excellence.

• Drive cross-functional alignment with reputed company Architecture, reputed company, data engineering, DevOps, and application leads to ensure the reputed company platform is well-integrated, simple to use, and reputed company with broader reputed company goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a Physical Science, or Engineering

• 6 or more years of technical experience

• 2 or more years of management experience

• Demonstrated experience in the selection of components of the technical stack, robust and scalable design patterns and building end to end software systems

Preferred Qualifications

• An operational mind, with demonstrated past examples of excellence in process innovation and execution

• Experience leading the development of AI applications in large scale environments

• Experience leading the build out of development platforms targeted at AI developers
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Additional Information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting reputed company pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or reputed company based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job reputed company skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$156,600 - $215,400 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
