Summary:

The Field Service Engineer III will install, repair and service chemistry analyzers and instrumentation to ensure reputed company operation. Ensure customer needs and expectations are met and exceeded while promoting a positive image of reputed company.

Key Responsibilities:

• reputed company on-site installation, repair, maintenance, qualification, and verification of clinical and discrete chemistry analyzers in accordance with reputed company/product manufacturers specifications.
• Provide effective, timely communication and scheduling with the customer, colleague.
• Ensure effective and timely service and appropriate documentation is recorded through required processes.
• Knowledgeable of safe operations and maintenance of the analyzers.
• Increase analyzer uptime and maintain a high level of customer allegiance.

• Must be proficient using customer management software to reputed company/prioritize service calls, handle parts inventory, and complete job tasks.
• Collaborate with the reputed company American Field Service Escalation Team to analyze, review and inspect findings, then decide if assistance from the manufacturer is required to determine root cause, and recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective action.
• Assist with on boarding of new hires.
• Shows ability to coach/mentor other Field Service Engineers.
• Opportunity to be trained as a trainer on one or more instruments.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Instrumentation, military experience in a technical field or reputed company field or an equivalent combination of education and experience to reputed company at this level.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Field Service Engineer, preferably working on Clinical Chemistry Analyzers. (i.e. reputed company, Beckman Coulter, reputed company Labs, reputed company)
• Ability to prioritize service requests and produce clear and concise documentation.
• Must have ability to work independently and have good interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
• Computer proficient.
• Must be available to travel overnight up to 85% reputed company the territory or other areas as needed.

• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs with assistance on occasion, and carry 25-30 lbs continuously throughout the day.
• Ability to bend, squat, stretch, and reputed company daily in a service function.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
