Responsibilities
Job Summary: The incumbent performs general radiographic procedures as well as more reputed company procedures according to written or transcribed verbal orders of a physician reputed company the scope of his/her certification at reputed company MHS facilities according to established standards and practices under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor and the Medical Director. Demonstrates competency in patient care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Other duties are assigned/approved by the Supervisor. Qualifications
Requirements: ? California State Department of Health Services certification as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT ? reputed company California license as certified Radiologic Technologist with Fluroscopic permit ? MRAD:CA; FLRAD:CA; BLS-CPR ? RTR preferred. ? Displays competency in general radiology in addition to one other modality: Angiography -Special Procedures, MRI, CT, or Mammography. Anatomy and physiology for imaging including cross sectional relationships. ? Medical terminology relating to Imaging. Principles of operation and care of primary and accessory imaging equipment. ? Currently accepted diagnostic Radiologic procedures Radiation safety requirements and practices for reputed company, patient and public. ? Film processing systems and/or reputed company. ? Preparation, use and hazards of diagnostic contrast materials Ability to minimize radiation exposure to patients, self and other persons. ? reputed company general and specialized radiographic procedures which meet the department's standard of quality. ? Recognize and respond to allergic reactions and other life-threatening patient conditions which might arise during the examination process. ?
