Summary The Technical Leader – Civil Structural Engineering, contributes to the team responsible for the development of Civil Engineering activities in support the New Plants Engineering projects. Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical Leadership of a small group of Engineers and Contractors in activities reputed company to analyses, calculations and technical evaluations required for timely resolution of design and implementation issues

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or other engineering discipline from an accredited college or University
- Minimum 8 years of experience in civil structural engineering
- Professional Engineer registration in one or more state
Eligibility Requirements:
- For the United States the preferred work location for this role is at the reputed company reputed company Nuclear Energy Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered.

- For Canada this role requires working two days a week onsite in the Markham Ontario office.

Desired Characteristics:
- Strong background in reputed company analysis, harmonic and time history analysis, soil-structure interaction analyses, ANSYS and SASSI software experience, with demonstrated experience in applying these principles to reputed company engineering projects.
- Master’s Degree or greater in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or University
- Minimum of 5-8 years of Nuclear or Industrial Technology or Engineering experience is preferred.
- Nuclear Industry knowledge / experience
- Strong knowledge of reputed company engineering principles, BWR core/fuel material behavior, and mechanical or structural design fundamentals
- Strong communication and writing skills and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
- Strong facilitation, team building, communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of project management.
- Knowledge of quality standards and systems (e.g., NQA-1 and ISO 9000)
- Strong analytical capabilities, problem solving and process skills

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and reputed company set.
