Telephonic Critical Support Nurse, PM Shift - Accredo - Work From Home

Telephonic Critical Support Nurse (RN): Remote, Work from home, United States. Schedule Information: These are EVENING SHIFTS.

• Four 10 hour days (1:30pm to 12:00am Central time); or

Three 12 hours days (11:30am to 12:00am Central time) with an additional 4 hour shift on a 4th day

• Days off will vary week-to-week
• Must be available to work overnight shifts on occasion (1-2 weekdays per month, and 2-4 weekends per year)
• Evening and overnight shifts include a shift differential

Position Overview: This busy 24/7 clinical call center receives and responds to a wide variety of incoming calls from patients, clinicians, referral sources, hospitals, etc. in support of chronic therapies, including Home Infusion Therapy. This team also takes after-hour calls for reputed company divisions of Accredo Health Group Specialty Pharmacies. What You'll Be Doing:

• Triage incoming calls from patients, clinicians, hospitals, etc. Intervene to address life-threatening medication interruptions.
• Guide patients, caregivers, clinicians through assessment of potential disruption of medication administration including pump malfunction, central line problems, and patient error.
• Troubleshoot issues with infusion devices, answer infusion access questions, and provide other therapy support.
• Coordinate communication between patient, caregivers, pharmacists, nurses, hospital staff, and physicians.
• Ensure product and supplies are provided in a timely manner.
• Contact appropriate personnel as needed, and document transactions in patients' e-chart.

Education, Licensure

• Possess an Associate degree in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma
• Registered Nurse (RN) multistate license in good standing, with ability to obtain licensure in reputed company 50 states
• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience. Critical care or home infusion experience preferred.
