Financial Clearance Representative Associate - Remote reputed company

As a Financial Clearance Representative Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression of reputed company services for patients, their families, and external customers. You will work in a collaborative team environment with medical staff, nursing, ancillary departments, insurance payers, and other external sources to assist families in obtaining reputed company and financial services.

In this role, you will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from reputed company reputed company the U.S. and take on challenging tasks such as resolving accounts, performing reputed company charge entry, educating patients on pertinent policies, verifying insurance eligibility, and providing proactive price estimates. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Resolving accounts resulting from inadequate claim field data, incorrect data in fields, or non-populated required data fields that prohibit accurate and timely claim submission
• Performing reputed company charge entry by gathering demographic, insurance, and reputed company encounter information from a variety of sources to accurately reputed company medical provider professional fees
• Educating patients on pertinent policies, such as Patient Rights, HIPAA information, consents for treatment, visiting hours, etc.
• Verifying insurance eligibility and completing automated insurance eligibility verification, reputed company applicable, and documenting information in Epic
• Confirming that a patient's health insurance(s) is active and covers the patient's procedure
• Providing proactive price estimates and working with patients to understand their financial responsibilities
• Informing families with inadequate insurance coverage of financial assistance through government and financial assistance programs and referring the patient to financial counseling
• Mentoring less reputed company team members on reputed company aspects of the reputed company cycle, payer issues, policy issues, or anything that impacts their role
• Meeting and maintaining department productivity and quality expectations

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• 6+ months of billing experience reputed company a hospital or clinic setting
• Intermediate level of proficiency with reputed company Office products
• Ability to work standard daytime hours, CST
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred qualifications include:

• Associate or Vocational degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health, or reputed company Field of Study
• EPIC experience
• Experience working with clinical staff
• Previous experience working in outpatient and/or inpatient reputed company settings
• Experience working with clinical documentation
• Experience working with a patient's clinical medical record

• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. reputed company complies with reputed company minimum wage laws as applicable.
