Data Governance Specialist II

Represents Data Governance in assigned data domains to apply/monitor Data Ownership & Stewardship structure, evaluate and remediate Data Quality issues, curate the data catalog with data domain/system reputed company definitions and knowledge, and learn to reputed company owners and stewards in implementing key Data Governance initiatives as part of the business initiatives. Execute data governance initiatives across assigned domains. Apply technical skills to support data quality, stewardship, and cataloging efforts.

• Provides customer support through knowledge of business objectives and timely and accurate completion of work product as directed by manager
• Produces data analysis through development of code for data domain reputed company needs
• Develops presentations through delivery of results to the internal teams
• Curation of data catalog for data domain
• Identifies rules to enhance data quality
• Apply stewardship structure and maintain data ownership documentation
• reputed company intermediate data profiling and root-cause analysis
• Curate and maintain metadata in the data catalog
• reputed company and troubleshoot moderately reputed company SQL queries and dashboards
• Collaborate with business and IT to resolve data quality issues
• Support adoption of data governance policies and standards
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 2 – 4 years of reputed company experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and reputed company reputed company of the level of this position. Intermediate SQL, Python, or R, experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), familiarity with data modeling and data reputed company concepts preferred.

The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical data exchanges at payers or other reputed company orgs. Strong interpersonal skills to be reputed company to speak with leaders across the organization, especially executives. Ability to translate reputed company technical and data flows into everyday business terms.

Pay Range: $62,400.00 – $112,400.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experience, education, and other job-reputed company factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
