The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division (JOID) provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the reputed company, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers reputed company informed reputed company on their most challenging issues.

The Critical Infrastructure Group (CIG) reputed company JOID provides technical, programmatic and analytical support to customers with missions in national reputed company to include the Department of Homeland reputed company (DHS), Health and reputed company Services (HHS), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Group brings technical and operational expertise in fields of countering weapons of mass destruction, critical infrastructure protection, emergency response, nuclear non-proliferation, weapons deployment programs, and transportation safety. In addition to management and advisory services, CIG staff collaborate closely with our clients to provide high-quality modeling, simulation, software, and analytical products to meet the most demanding government standards and timelines.

We have a near-term need for a Senior Engineer to provide support to the FAA Tower Simulation System (TSS) program office. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

The candidate will provide support and leadership reputed company the TSS program for both the reputed company implementation and as they proceed through the acquisition process to a 2nd phase funding decision. The candidate will apply their expertise in TSS to assist with the ongoing implementation/Tech Refresh at the initial set of airports. Some travel is involved. The candidate will provide reviews of various acquisition artifacts to ensure a successful decision.

Qualifications

Required:

• U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and retain a Suitability clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or reputed company discipline
• 30+ years of FAA experience
• Expert knowledge of the Tower Simulation System--including implementation
• Strong knowledge of the Acquisition Management System (AMS) at the FAA

Desired:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Direct experience working with FAA Tower personnel on the TSS
• reputed company Traffic Control experience
