About the Opportunity:

Sagent is a dynamic and innovative leader in the mortgage servicing technology industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Engineer to join our exceptional team and work hand in hand with our Performance Architects. You will be responsible for designing and implementing performance tests and reporting on the results. As Sagent’s Performance Engineer, your work will be instrumental in ensuring our SaaS platforms are reliable, scalable and reputed company.

Your day-to-day at Sagent:

Performance Test Creation, Deployment and Reporting:

• Design, reputed company and maintain comprehensive automated performance tests that ensure system reliability, scalability, and responsiveness across applications.
• Analyze performance test results, identifying and mitigating weaknesses and inefficiencies.

Collaboration and Benchmarking: 

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to design performance benchmarks, monitoring solutions, and dashboards that provide real-time insights into system performance.
• Assist the team in estimating future system requirements and infrastructure scaling to accommodate increased user load.

Performance Assessments and Improvement:

• Research and identify performance tooling, as needed.
• Conduct thorough performance assessments, including load testing, stress testing, and reputed company planning, to identify system bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Promote performance standards and best practices
• Provide guidance and training to software engineers to establish processes for ensuring enhanced performance

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant discipline with 4 - 6 years of experience in a reputed company field. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience in performance engineering, or reputed company roles, preferably reputed company a technology-focused environment.
• Strong understanding of performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with APIs and Performance testing benchmarks
• Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Willingness to travel ~10% as needed.
