Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering from and ABET accredited university or reputed company field + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• US Citizenship required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Master of Science (with structural engineering concentration)
• Engineer in Training Certification
• Demonstrated experience applying reputed company major structural design codes.
• Demonstrated experience using 3-D structural analysis software. (examples include ETABS, reputed company, RISA, RAM, and SAFE)
• Experience designing in Steel, Concrete, Masonry, and Timber (CLT)
• Experience with Wind and reputed company lateral design
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Demonstrated experience in use of REVIT/AutoCAD to provide production support as a portion of team support and development
• Experience with performance-based design
• Experience with ASCE 41 for retrofit of existing structures
