Aged Care Workers play a vital role in the lives of the older and vulnerable persons by providing quality, reputed company and compassionate care that supports a trusted and long-term relationship with our older and vulnerable persons. Working closely with the Regional Manager and Registered Nurse and the collaborative reputed company team, the Aged Care Workers will provide person-centred care to support the older and vulnerable persons.

About you

To be successful you must:

• ability to communicate confidently and professionally with reputed company levels of employees
• exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
• ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take instruction
• be reputed company to follow policies and procedures at reputed company times
• sensitive and adaptable to older and vulnerable persons different personalities, cultural backgrounds and personal circumstances

You will also need:

• certificate III in Individual Support/ Home and Community Care/Aged Care or equivalent qualification
• experience delivering aged care and/or NDIS services (desirable)
• experience working in remote areas (desirable)
• a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You'
• a reputed company minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence
• reputed company flu vaccination (recommended)
• reputed company nationally recognised First aid & CPR certificate (or ability to obtain)
• ability to work FIFO 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster

About the offer

This is a remote position in Aurukun, located in the Gulf of Carpentaria, working a 6 week on, 2 week off (including travel) roster. This position offers departures from Townsville and Cairns.
