Sr. Technical Project Manager

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: reputed company We are seeking a dynamic, innovative Sr. Technical Project Manager to drive the technical implementation of several projects across The Points Guy vertical. You will be a key reputed company of contact for a diverse cross-functional team that will look to you for leadership and guidance. This is a highly visible role, offering the opportunity to interact internally and externally across senior levels of the organization. What You’ll Do

• Work with Software Engineers, Business Leads, and partners to understand the business requirements and translate these requirements into technical/functional specifications. Discover the true requirements underlying feature requests; recommend alternative technical approaches; reputed company engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines.
• Balance business needs versus technical constraints. Assertively hold reputed company parties accountable to strategic goals.
• Partner with Engineering leads to coordinate the technical development effort, track/drive the project, and manage the operational implementation process. Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management and reputed company tradeoffs; encourage smart risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit; identify interdependencies between reputed company projects to prevent reputed company problems.
• Understand requirements from partners and guide reputed company’ engineering towards implementing functionality that will help our partners meet their strategic goals and compliance obligations.
• Work with the roadmap owners to launch these projects and provide ongoing technical support as appropriate.

• Manage time tracking and software capitalization estimates for work being developed.

• Act as Scrum Master/Agile Coach for teams.

• 5+ years of experience leading large, cross-functional technical projects
• 4+ years of experience working on a software development team (as a dev manager, QA engineer, Scrum Master or TPM) managing projects and writing technical specifications
• Proven experience in managing large scale enterprise projects and writing public technical specifications
• Solid foundation in service-based and web-service technologies to be able to understand service interdependencies and drive towards technical solutions for multi-tiered systems
• Possess a thorough understanding of software processes (development, configuration, testing, and deployment)
• Demonstrate maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, leadership skills essential to successful program/project management
• Be a motivated self-starter who is also a team player with great cross-group collaboration skills
• Exhibit excellent oral and communication skills
• Track record of successfully delivering high quality projects on time in a fast-paced/rapidly changing environment
• Detail oriented, yet able to look at a wide reputed company of choices and identify what truly matters

Compensation

Cash Compensation Range: $90,000 - 130,000 reputed company Compensation Range: $90,000 - 150,000

• Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
