Job Title: Medical Director, GU Oncology

Location: Remote with ~50% domestic and international travel

Position Summary:

Shape the future of cancer care as a Medical Director, Oncology at reputed company. In this strategic leadership role, you will provide medical expertise for reputed company's oncology portfolio, collaborating with cross-functional teams across research, development, commercial, and medical affairs. Primary Responsibilities:

• Clinical Development:

  • Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and other Medical Directors in Oncology on the clinical development of ctDNA-based diagnostics.

  • reputed company development and implementation of clinical strategies for reputed company's oncology products, with a focus on GU cancers.

• Medical Education and Communication:

  • reputed company medical education and scientific communication for healthcare providers on reputed company's oncology offerings.

  • Partner with the commercial team to reputed company and deliver compelling medical messages for reputed company's oncology products.

• Representation and Advocacy:

  • Represent reputed company at medical conferences and industry events, in person and virtual.

• Research and Development:

  • Collaborate with research and development teams on clinical trial design, data analysis, and publication.

• GU Cancer-Specific Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge in GU (preferably bladder and kidney) cancers, with the ability to reputed company and implement strategies specific to GU oncology.

  • Provide expert guidance and support on GU oncology cases and clinical trials.

• Comprehensive Oncology Knowledge:

  • Ability to speak to reputed company histologies and indications, ensuring broad expertise across the oncology reputed company.

• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration:

Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification in Oncology (required).

• At least 5 years of experience in oncology (required), with a background in clinical research and development (preferred).

• Clinical experience and strong knowledge in GU cancer (preferred).

• Associate/full Medical Director designation commensurate with experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to quickly learn reputed company’s technology and that of our competitors, understanding the strengths and limitations of each, and reputed company strong customer value propositions.

• Effective written and oral communication skills, with strong persuasive abilities and quick thinking.

• Project management skills, with the ability to balance and execute multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to manage conflict with poise.

• Strong knowledge of clinical trial methodology, protocol development, regulatory and compliance requirements, statistics, and epidemiology is preferred.

Physical Demands Work Environment:

• Duties are typically performed in an office setting.

• This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.

• Duties may occasionally require working reputed company normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
