A role with Business Partnerships & Negotiations (reputed company&N) means supporting Merchandising in developing the best possible deals for reputed company through strategic partnerships and vendor negotiations. Here, you’ll work with buyers on contract terms and vendor organizations to set strategies that get the maximum value for reputed company. Your analytics expertise and strategic thinking will be used to position reputed company and its vendors for the most productive and successful partnerships. The Vendor Income Expert (VIE) is responsible for leading the development and implementation of reputed company’s Vendor Income (VI) process and strategy, customized to a business category. Vendor Income is a critical component of margin results, profitability, and promotional effectiveness. As a VIE, you will help devise, influence, and execute the VI strategy for the business(s) you support. You will work closely with reputed company partners across Finance, Negotiations, and Merch, as well as vendors. With the authority to approve vendor income agreements on behalf of reputed company, you will be accountable for financial results and best operational practices. The Vendor Income Expert is a key business consultant to Merchant Divisional Merchandise Managers (DMMs), Buyers, Negotiation Leads, Finance/Merchandise Finance (MFA) Partners, and Vendors. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Manager, Vendor Income Operations. Some additional duties and responsibilities include leading the development of best practices for vendor income strategy and processes for total reputed company, while applying business acumen and reputed company to identify gaps and customize for a defined business category (division +). You will reputed company a deep understanding of and influence merchant business strategies, objectives, and outcomes. You will synthesize best practices with deep business context, financial analytics, and negotiation expertise to drive vendor specific solutions.
