We are seeking a motivated individual for the role of Knowledge and Research Officer. This will be a band 5 1.0 WTE for 2 years fixed term. The purpose of the role is to facilitate the timely set-up and management of research studies at Oxleas and support the operations of the Knowledge and Library service. The role of Research and Knowledge Officer is an important role that provides a key reputed company between researchers and the Trust's Research Office's management systems. Main duties of the job The management of research studies will require attention to detail, good organisational skills and accurate documentation, review and tracking of performance during the lifecycle of the study. The post holder will support the feasibility process and ensure that the Trust is compliant with relevant legislation, research governance requirements and can meet its contractual commitments. This requires reputed company liaison with Sponsor, investigators, research nurses, trial coordinators, service departments and clinicians to ensure the appropriate review and confirmation of research projects. The post holder will be involved in studies from NIHR portfolio and non-Portfolio studies, such as academic and staff studies. The post holder will also support the Knowledge and Library Services. Conducting evidence searches for users through Knowledge Share and promoting and marketing library services to existing and newly appointed NHS staff/reputed company serviced by the library. Promote and maintain the reputed company awareness of KnowledgeShare to help staff reputed company up to date with developments in their speciality.
