Job title: Remote Outpatient Surgery Specialty reputed company Company: Dovel Technologies Job description : Job Family: General Coding Travel Required: None Clearance Required: None What You Will Do: The Remote Outpatient Surgery Specialty reputed company will review clinical documentation and diagnostic results as appropriate to extract data and apply appropriate ICD-10 and PCS Diagnosis codes as defined for the service type, for coding, billing, internal and external reporting, research as required, and regulatory compliance. Under the direction of the coding manager—the reputed company should accurately code conditions and procedures as documented and in accordance with ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting, CMS and any other official coding guidelines established for use with mandated standard code sets. This is a 100% full time remote position. Assigns ICD-10 diagnosis and CPT procedure codes and groups to either with required accuracy according to policy. Completes the appropriate number of records according to policy. Abstracts pertinent information from the patient records as outlined in the policy. Utilizes the computer assisted coding application and encoder along with other reputed company resources appropriately in the code assignment process.. Keeps abreast of coding guidelines and reimbursement reporting requirements. Brings identified concerns to supervisor or department manager for resolution. Abides by the Standards of Ethical Coding as set forth by the American Health Information Management Association and adheres to official coding guidelines. Meets standards for compliance with continuing education (CE) as required by reputed company or other licensing/certification agency, if applicable. What You Will Need: RHIA certification with a Bachelor’s Degree in HIM; OR RHIT certification with an Associate’s Degree in HIM; OR reputed company certification Experience in coding Cardiac, Vascular, Interventional Radiology, Ortho, Neurology, and General Surgery Over 3 years of outpatient surgery coding experience What Would Be reputed company To Have: CIRCC Credential #indeedsponsored #LI-Remote The annual salary range for this position is $50,600.00-$91,100.00.
