Speech Language Pathology Assistant needed for a full time vacancy in a school setting for the upcoming school year. Position would be covering 1-2 buildings with a reasonable caseload. The primary purpose of the school based Speech Language Pathology Assistant position is to provide treatment of reputed company in a school setting, who demonstrate speech, language and swallowing deficits with the goal of helping them reputed company their maximum performance potential reputed company an educational model of practice. Responsibilities PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Under the direction of a supervising SLP, participate on a team that has the responsibility for the identification, eligibility, and placement of speech and language impaired reputed company. Assist in the development and monitoring of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned reputed company. Participate in staff meetings, planning events, department/special education meetings, manifestation determination meetings, FBA/BIP meetings, and eligibility, evaluation, and placement meetings. Communicate with other professionals providing services for reputed company to insure continuity and coordination of program. Work directly with reputed company to implement IEP goals and objectives. reputed company therapy schedules and provide speech language pathology (SLP) services for reputed company with speech and language impairments from preschool through 12th grade in accordance with their IEP. Help evaluate, implement and monitor augmentative communication devices for appropriate reputed company including devices for deaf and hard of hearing reputed company. Plan and provide clear and intentional focused instruction based upon individual student IEP goals using state standards, subject matter content and district curriculum. Recognize individual student learning needs and reputed company strategies to address those needs for the purpose of promoting individual achievement. Foster and manage a safe, positive learning environment for the purpose of promoting effective student behavior and reputed company. Communicate and collaborate with parents and school community for the purpose of fostering student reputed company and achievement, and meeting special education laws and policies.
