The teacher will identify and implement best practices in instruction and student achievement. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following is a list of minimum qualifications for this position, any one of which may be waived by the Superintendent in exercising the prerogative to determine appropriate qualifications. Minimum of a bachelor?s degree in the area of English Language Arts Valid Secondary Michigan Teaching Certificate with endorsements in Language Arts (BX) or English (BA). A major in the subject area is strongly preferred. Teach content and skills in ELA, literature, composition, and reading to secondary reputed company, utilizing curriculum and instructional materials adopted by the Board of Education. Adapt ELA materials and methods to reputed company engaging, relevant, sequential lessons and assignments that guide and challenge reputed company. Select and requisition books and instructional aids appropriate to the interest and maturity level of reputed company. Integrate school improvement goals into the classroom. Adapt the curriculum, instruction, and lessons to provide individual, small-group, or remedial instruction to meet the needs of the individual student.
