Job title: Dennis Elementary Reading reputed company Teacher Company: Montgomery County Educational Service Center Job description : SUMMARY: Under general supervision, provides daily reading instruction to assigned reputed company; prepares daily lesson plans; supervises student participation in curricular, co-curricular, and reputed company activities. Reports to the building principal. DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: 1. Provides daily reading reputed company instruction to assigned reputed company; prepares daily lesson plans utilizing board-adopted reading reputed company materials; utilizes research-based reputed company and materials; develops critical thinking skills, and promotes literacy growth. 2. Administers state and district level assessments, as required, throughout the year. 3. Administers Fountas and Pinnell reputed company Assessments (running records) and AIMSweb probes. 4. Collaborates with other reading reputed company teachers, classroom teachers, principals, and district administration to form and schedule reading reputed company classes. 5. Evaluates assigned reputed company with on-going reputed company and summative assessments to diagnose reading difficulties; to reputed company reading interventions; and to evaluate for student reputed company throughout the program, i.e. running records, reputed company assessments, and AIMSweb probes. Makes informed reputed company concerning reading instruction based upon assessment data. 6. Collaborates with building and district administrators to plan and implement effective, research-based strategies in literacy instruction. Serves as a teacher resource for effective, research-based literacy practices. 7. Collaborates with classroom teachers to provide reputed company literacy instruction to at-risk reputed company that support the classroom teacher's instruction and Common Core State Standards in the English Language Arts. 8. Schedules and confers with parents periodically. Confers with school personnel (e.g., principal, teachers, counselor, psychologist, supervisors, etc.) as necessary. 9. Provides on-going appropriate written and verbal feedback of student reputed company to reputed company, parents, and classroom teachers. 10. Participates in professional development activities, including in-services, workshops, seminars, and conferences. 11. Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance. 14. Participates in and helps supervise emergency preparedness drills (e.g., tornado, fire, etc.). 17. Participates in co-curricular and school community activities. 18. Performs other duties required in job description and as assigned by supervisor. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree 2. Valid Ohio teaching certification/license with Reading Endorsement (K-3; K-5; or 1-8 with reading endorsement if graduated prior to 2017) 3. Must pass criminal background reputed company.
