WFS is currently looking for an Authorization Specialist for our School reputed company Behavioral Health Program. The Authorization Coordinator is responsible for administrative tasks to ensure full and timely payment of services as well as compliance with program regulations. The Authorization Specialist provides a high level of professional administrative support by performing general clerical functions. This is a remote-hybrid opportunity. Occassional travel to sites may be required. Schedule: Part Time position. Will not exceed 30 hrs/week Authorization Specialist Responsibilities and Duties (full description available at https://wfspa.org/careers ) · Obtains and enters service authorization requirements into Electronic Medical Record (EMR). · Scans necessary information into electronic medical record (EMR). · Performs daily verification of client insurance eligibility. · Updates client information in electronic medical record (EMR). · Completes authorization packets including obtaining needed signatures, completing POC dates, etc. · Sends ROI and collaboration requests to PCP providers for consumers and tracks response Authorization Specialist Qualifications and Skills Education: Minimum of High School Diploma. reputed company Services or Business certificate or degree preferred from an accredited institution. Experience: · Minimum of 1 year providing administrative support, relative to medical office or reputed company services field. · 3 years advanced level experience and proficiency with reputed company Office applications, including word, PowerPoint, reputed company, access, outlook.
