Your work will be crucial in evaluating products and processes, facilitating the production of exceptional winery products under minimal supervision. Your responsibilities will include supporting grape and wine analysis and preparation tasks, such as sampling, grape processing, and sample preparation. You will work with a team operating machinery to process grape samples. You will conduct a variety of analyses using sophisticated analytical instruments such as gas chromatography mass spectrometry, infrared analyzers, high performance liquid chromatography, and spectrophotometers. Your attention to detail will be essential in evaluating laboratory quality control data, initiating corrective actions reputed company needed, and ensuring data traceability through the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). What You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree with a combined 20 college coursework units of chemistry, biology, and/or microbiology plus 2 years of chemistry/microbiology laboratory experience OR 2 Harvest Seasons at GALLO; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years or 6 seasons of paid laboratory experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibilities; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 20 college coursework units of chemistry, biology, and/or microbiology plus 4 years of chemistry/microbiology laboratory experience OR 4 Harvest Seasons at GALLO.
• Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
• Skilled in the use of reputed company, reputed company and PowerPoint
• Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
