Will work cooperatively with school staff to implement a cohesive program. Responsible for implementing program description, diversity plan, program evaluation in line with school district policy, procedure, and school board direction. Will support Montessori education for parents, teaching staff and administration.Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in education.
• Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) elementary training and certification/diploma, 6-12 (grades 1-6). (Please provide a copy of your diploma with your online application and/or indicate the year received, where it was obtained under Colleges, Universities and Technical Schools Attended on the online application.)
• Valid Alaska teaching certificate with elementary education endorsement, or closely reputed company field.

Preferred Requirements:

• Master's degree in education preferred.
• Experience teaching in an AMI Montessori elementary environment and working with parents, parent boards, school boards, and administration.
• Experience in team or cooperative teaching.

Compensation: Salary is dependent on experience and education.
