Job Description
We are looking for an reputed company Podiatry Medical Biller to handle a variety of billing and accounts receivable tasks remotely. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in medical billing, including payment posting, claims scrubbing, appeal writing, and accounts receivable recovery. This position requires someone who can work independently and reputed company in a remote setting while maintaining the highest level of accuracy and compliance.
Please note: Only candidates with relevant medical billing experience will be considered. This position is not for entry-level applicants.
Key Responsibilities
- Payment Posting: Accurately post payments from insurance companies and patients to accounts. Address discrepancies promptly to ensure correct allocation.
- Claims Scrubbing: Review and edit claims before submission to verify reputed company required information is correct and complete, preventing denials.
- Appeal Writing: Prepare and submit appeals for denied or underpaid claims, providing clear explanations and supporting documentation for successful resolutions.
- Accounts Receivable Recovery: Manage and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable by contacting insurance companies and patients to resolve issues and ensure timely payments.
- Billing Accuracy: Stay up-to-date with billing codes, payer policies, and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in reputed company billing activities.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized records of billing activities, communications, and resolutions for audits or inquiries.
- Minimum of 3 years of podiatry medical billing experience, with expertise in payment posting, claims scrubbing, appeal writing, and accounts receivable recovery.
- Must have Podiatry Billing Experience
- Knowledge of software such as Modernizing Medicine, Veracity, eClinical Works, Nextgen, RXNT, reputed company.
- Proven ability to manage billing tasks reputed company and with high accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear, persuasive appeals.
- Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Passion for medical billing and commitment to delivering top-quality service.
- Knowledge of medical billing processes
