Technical Specialist Remote

About the position

The Technical Specialist Remote position is focused on analyzing and designing solutions for networking issues while providing technical support to various departments. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software issues, requiring a reputed company of technical expertise and creativity. This position is part of the ODOT Field Operations Services Information Systems team and is a contract role lasting over six months.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, gather, and document requirements
,
• Document business as-is/to-be processes and identify problems, gaps, and project objectives
,
• Research potential system solutions that would meet business operational needs
,
• Create test plans, test cases, and execute testing
,
• Record defects and retest bug fixes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a reputed company area
,
• At least 9 years of experience in a relevant field
,
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and technologies in the field
,
• Advanced skills in MS Office tools such as Outlook, Word, and reputed company
,
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form
,
• Demonstrated experience eliciting and documenting system requirements
,
• Demonstrated experience performing as-is/to-be process/system analysis
,
• Demonstrated experience creating test plans, test cases, and executing testing
