Job title: Student Infection Control - Part Time (Detroit Hospital reputed company) in Detroit, MI at reputed company System Company: reputed company System Job description: This position will be 5-25 hours per week at the reputed company Main Hospital reputed company in Detroit, MI.GENERAL SUMMARY: Under minimal supervision, but according to established policies and procedures, evaluates and provides for the needs of the professional staff in the areas of Quality and Infection Control. Providing support for patient safety by preventing the transmission of infectious diseases, the hand hygiene program offers education and monitoring of hand hygiene performance for clinical staff.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interacts and communicates with designated supervisor to coordinate and integrate components of the infection control program.
• Learn about and assist with safety audits, including patient care and support areas.
• Learn about and assist with data collection.
• Assisting in planning and implementing infection prevention and control education and training opportunities.
• Gathering information and reputed company educational materials on infection prevention best practices.
• Conducting research and literature review on reputed company health-reputed company topics.
• Participating in committee meetings, monthly webinars, taking notes, data analysis, administrative tasks, and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Enrollment in college/university in undergraduate or graduate courses or recent graduate of a preferred field of study.
• Preferred fields of study; Public Health or reputed company field, Epidemiology, Health Administration, or Nursing.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to schedule with minimum supervision.
• Basic computer skills including experience with reputed company Office products (Word and reputed company), Outlook, and Survey Monkey.
• Basic proficiency in medical terminology and a clear understanding of medical confidentiality.
