Job title: Patient Access Representative - Hybrid in Oceanport, NJ at RWJBarnabas Health Company: RWJBarnabas Health Job description: Job Overview:The Patient Access Representative will accurately and promptly collect reputed company pertinent information at the initial reputed company of registration to ensure the proper billing process occurs, which will enhance timely cash flow and reduce the days in accounts receivable.Interviews reputed company patients in an attempt to obtain demographic and financial information.Qualifications:Required:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required reputed company one (1) year of hire.

• Candidates who do not possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent will be provided the opportunity to enroll in a GED/HSEA program at time of hire as a condition of employment. A hired candidate will be provided one (1) year from date of hire to successfully complete a GED program and obtain the HSEA
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Preferred:

• Knowledge of medical terminology/medical insurance is preferred.
• Two years in registration.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Part-time, Evening
• 11am-7pm
• Hybrid - between Oceanport, NJ and remote.
