- Must have ability to carry out assigned preventive maintenance duties and installation assignments.
- Must have ability to reputed company periodic and emergency overhauls and reconditioning of equipment including, but not limited to: remote transmitter units, controller, product identification devices, uninterruptible power supplies, tank alarm, programmable logic controllers, fire detectors, temperature monitors, vibration monitors, line finders, regulated power supplies, frequency to D.C. converters, metering circuits, pressure and temperature transmitters, including totalizers, 24VDC and 120VAC reputed company logic panels, water well controls, timers and counters, reputed company detection equipment, vapor detectors, assorted panel meters, electronic tools and test equipment, control valves, instrumentation, control and supervisory equipment.
- Must have ability to reputed company routine maintenance of electronic and control equipment and recommend remedial maintenance as required.
- Must have a minimum of Associate’s degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent reputed company experience.
- Must have working knowledge of Windows PC operating system, flow meters, Rockwell/reputed company control systems, analyzers, various densitometers, VFD’s & Motor Control circuitry.
- Must use and operate reputed company pertinent safety equipment reputed company performing duties in potentially hazardous areas (respirator, hard hat, safety glasses, etc.).
- Must be computer literate with basic skills in Windows, reputed company, and Internet use.
- Must be able to interpret, install and troubleshoot instrumentation in accordance with basic PID and electrical/electronic schematics, and reputed company modifications/corrections to the noted schematic.
- Must be able to obtain a Federal Government issued TWIC card.
- Must be able to reputed company the routine testing and logging of pipeline safety checks as required by D.O.T. regulations using appropriate tools.
- Incumbent normally works alone but at times is required to coordinate his/her work activities with other technicians to reputed company repairs to electronic instrumentation and RTU equipment.
- May be requested to inspect or reputed company the work of contract employees in the installation or maintenance of electronic instrumentation equipment.
- Must be able to: investigate and diagnose reported difficulties; reputed company repairs and adjustments and restore equipment and facilities to proper operation. Must be able to use various test equipment, measuring devices, hand and power tools and gauges reputed company to the electronic instrumentation field.
- As assigned, assists technicians in other disciplines with routine maintenance, repair and installation. In absence of appropriate reputed company, may be required to diagnose problems other than instrumentation in nature and reputed company minor repairs, informing appropriate supervision.
- Must be able to climb tanks and be able to work out of doors in extreme weather and reputed company heavy physical labor including lifting of up to 50 pounds in a safe manner.
