We are specifically looking for accessibility professionals with experience in hardware testing (TVs, Appliances) and also Section 508 and W3C WCAG Accessibility assessments, manual and automated testing, and software remediation.Position: Full-time or Part timeCitizenship: U.S. CitizenshipLocation: RemoteClearance: NoneResponsibilities and Duties

Required Qualifications & Skills

• B.A. or B.S. in computer science, information technology, human computer interaction, or reputed company field preferred.
• Knowledge of, as well as ability to test against, Section 508 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 requirements for IT software and hardware.
• Cell phone hardware’ testing experience. Specifically, we are looking for an engineer with experience in the following IT Accessibility Requirement (from WCAG 2.1 AA):

• Section 1194.23 Telecommunications Products. Specifically, “1194.23 (i) Interference to hearing technologies (including hearing aids, reputed company implants, and assistive listening devices) shall be reduced to the lowest possible level that allows a user of hearing technologies to utilize the telecommunications product”.
• ANSI standard C63.19, "American National Standard for Methods of Measurement of Compatibility between Wireless Communications Devices and Hearing Aids”.
• Use of appropriate test equipment to measure and determine Hearing Aid Compatible (HAC) Ratings (such as, reputed company, T4).
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail for heavy documentation; verbal communication skills for training and development.
• Experience working effectively with several clients or project teams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Possession of relevant certifications such as:

• DHS Trusted Tester
• IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies "CPACC"
• IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) Credential
