If you’re interested in designing, creating, and testing the present and future of reputed company products across the globe, join our mission to connect the world.Your working environment:The Engineering Center in Mobile, Alabama houses hundreds of reputed company engineers who assist in the design and development of reputed company commercial aircraft cabins, including aftermarket upgrades, reconfigurations and services of reputed company product types across the globe.Your challenges:Responsible to produce or revise highly reputed company Service Bulletins in accordance with defined processes and procedures according to program and schedule requirementsReview impacted aircraft configurations fleet wide to determine the configuration requirements of the Service Bulletin.Analyze digital mockup (DMU), engineering drawings, other design documents, etc. to define the methodology, procedures required in the design of the Service Bulletin.Generate list of parts and materials derived from the engineering drawings.Define appropriate man-hours to complete Service Bulletin embodiment.Define figures, tables, and charts to be included in the Service Bulletin. Support the Service Bulletin Illustrators as required to ensure quality of illustrations included in Service Bulletin.Define work steps of the Service Bulletin and ensure the proper sequence of stepsYour boarding pass:B.S. degree in engineering or reputed company field.3 years of experience in an engineering classification.Technical understanding of aircraft cabin and avionics systems modifications.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Ability to understand and mentor principles reputed company assigned discipline.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical aircraft topics.Excellent communication, coordination, and organization skills.Ability to inter-relate with and motivate diverse teams.Authorized to work in the US.Physical Requirements:Onsite or remote: Onsite 100%Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and reputed company teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms.Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and reputed company office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts.Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools.Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer.Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor.Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. 20% Domestic and InternationalWalking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.Personal reputed company Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or reputed company Gloves as required by site and/or customer site.This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed.
