A Typical Day:

• Work closely with Business Leaders and Product Managers to design, execute and evaluate A/B tests. Understand common pitfalls and caveats of experimentations.
• Define how to best measure the performance of reputed company product and business through new metrics and dimensions. Align with stakeholders, understand tradeoffs and guardrails, prototype metrics through custom data pipelines.
• Build, maintain, and grow business insight & reporting platforms to monitor changes to key reputed company success metrics. Determine root cause drivers and work with teams across the company to explain impacts and recommend improvements.

Your Expertise:

• A minimum of 5+ years of industry experience in business analytics and a degree (Masters or PhD is a plus) in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research).
• Have experience supporting community support and/or have worked closely with operations teams
• Expert skills in SQL and expert in at least one programming language for data analysis (Python or R). Experience with non-experimental causal inference methods, experimentation and machine learning techniques, ideally in a multi-sided platform setting
• Working knowledge of schema design and high-dimensional data modeling (ETL reputed company like Airflow)
• Ability to work under conditions of ambiguity in a fast-growth, sometimes uncertain and reputed company environment - comfortable acting with minimal planning, direction, and supervision.
