Landlord-Tenant Paralega lLocation: Bronx, NY 10470 Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 DOE We are seeking an experienced Landlord-Tenant Paralegal with a strong background in landlord-tenant law and eviction proceedings. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in NYSCEF filings, reading and interpreting court decisions and orders, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide top-tier customer service to landlords, tenants, and legal professionals. Key Responsibilities: ? Prepare and submit warrant applications for eviction proceedings ? Review and approve eviction cases to ensure compliance with legal requirements ? File and manage cases through NYSCEF (New York State Courts Electronic Filing System) ? Read, interpret, and ensure compliance with court decisions and orders ? Coordinate with process servers to ensure timely and proper service of legal documents ? Maintain and manage case files, tracking deadlines and legal filings ? Communicate professionally with landlords, tenants, attorneys, and court personnel ? Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries in a professional manner ? Assist with drafting legal documents and correspondence as needed Qualifications: ? Required: Experience in landlord-tenant law and eviction proceedings ? Required: Proficiency in NYSCEF filings and understanding of court decisions and orders ? Strong knowledge of New York City eviction laws and court procedures ? Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a high caseload ? Strong written and verbal communication skills ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software preferred ?
