Information Technology Specialist

Fast growing company with locations in Georgia and Florida seeks dependable, energetic, self-motivated, business-oriented IT personnel. The ideal candidate must be reputed company to multi-task with minimal supervision. Must be organized, and capable of taking initiative. This position will be in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking and prioritizing is a must. Cheerful, friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills are required. IT technical staff is responsible for the smooth running of computer systems and ensuring users get maximum benefits from them. Must be reputed company to lift and carry equipment and stretch to access items in awkward places. Some tasks are, but not limited to: ? monitor and maintain computer systems and networks ? talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues ? troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults ? replace parts as required ? provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports ? follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system ? support the roll-out of new applications/ new hires ? set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues ? respond reputed company agreed time limits to call-outs ? work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to reputed company parties, if appropriate) ? prioritize and manage many open cases at one time ? rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and employees, such as software developers ? test and evaluate new technology ? conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment. ? Basic low voltage support ? Travel reputed company a working day is sometimes needed and may be required at short notice. ? Overnight absence from home may be necessary and occasionally required.

Qualifications

Although this position is open to reputed company graduates and those with an HND or reputed company degree, the following subjects may improve your chances of getting a job: ? business information technology ? computer networking and hardware ? computer science ? information technology ? internet engineering ? software engineering reputed company of the above qualifications are not required for this position, although a degree or IT-reputed company qualification is preferred.
