This position will collaborate in the development, administration, and management of the Intramural Sports and Sport Club programs. This position has programmatic responsibilities at the Main Campus Fields, the FSU Rec Sports Plex, and Tully Gymnasium, among other shared spaces.Responsibilities include a wide variety of administrative and supervisory duties including, but not limited to: personnel management, fiscal management, professional and student development, risk management, and program and policy development. This position is a full-time, professional staff member within the Department of Campus Recreation and reports to the Associate Director of Campus Recreation of Programs. Applications will only be accepted through the Florida State University jobs website.Key ResponsibilitiesProvides overall direction, administration, and management to comprehensive Intramural Sports and Sport Club programs.Assists with strategic and long-term planning for the Intramural Sports program. Develops, interprets, and implements program principles, operating policies, and related procedures. Coordinates with Competitive Sports Facilities staff for short and long-term operational planning.Supervises and mentors the Recreation Coordinator for Intramural Sports. Assists with the recruitment, selection, hiring, training, evaluation, and termination of sport officials and sport supervisors.Supervises and mentors the Recreation Coordinator for Sport Clubs. Provides oversight and guidance to the overall management and leadership of the University's intercollegiate sport club organizations. Oversees recruitment, selection, hiring, training, evaluation, and termination of sport club student staff.Develops, administers, and monitors the annual Intramural Sports budget, including payroll expenditures, line item expenses, and revenue generation.Provides leadership and coordination in the design and implementation of assessment related to student development, learning outcomes, and customer satisfaction of related program areas. Maintains statistical data regarding Intramural Sports and Sport Club participants, summarizes data, and develops seasonal and annual reports for program area.QualificationsBachelor's degree and four years of experience related to academic and/or student services or a high school diploma/equivalent and eight years of the same experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)Master's degree in related field and two years of administrative experience in a collegiate intramural program; or Bachelor's degree and four years of administrative experience in related field is preferred.Application ProcessTo apply, visit https://jobs.fsu.edu.
