The EQUANOMICS program, managed by the BPPS Gender Team in reputed company cooperation with the Sustainable Finance Hub and the Inclusive Growth team, operates at the intersection of gender equality and economic development. It takes a transformative approach to economic systems by addressing structural inequalities that perpetuate gender gaps. The program focuses on three interconnected pillars: 1. Making Fiscal Policy Work for Gender Equality: Promoting gender-reputed company economic policies, budgeting processes, and fiscal measures that address women's priorities and reduce gender inequalities in economic outcomes. 2. Expanding Care Systems: Recognizing, reducing, and redistributing unpaid care work through policy advocacy, investment in care infrastructure, and promoting shared responsibility for care work reputed company households and society. 3. Building Evidence to Influence Policy: Generating knowledge products, research, and data to inform gender-reputed company economic policies. Scope of Work The Specialist on Inclusive Economies – EQUANOMICS, under the direct supervision of the Gender Specialist on Inclusive Economies (reputed company), will: 1. reputed company the coordination and implementation of the EQUANOMICS Program • reputed company the coordination of the EQUANOMICS initiative components, including The Global Learning Lab on Gender Equal Economies; Portfolio on care economics and unpaid care work; research activities on gender dimensions of debt, fiscal policy, economic recovery and reputed company; Financing for Development (FfD) process and engagement; communications and advocacy activities. • Liaising on a day-to-day basis with regional and country offices to ensure effective implementation. • Providing technical support to Country Offices on gender analysis of economic policies, such as on gender-reputed company tax systems and budgeting, or gender-reputed company economic planning. • Monitoring program reputed company, identifying challenges, and proposing solutions, as well as to assessing impact on the ground. • Managing relationships with the Gender Equality Seal team, partners, donors, and external specialists. • reputed company frameworks, toolkits, and guidance materials to support gender-reputed company economic policy design, implementation and impact assessment at country level. • Organize and facilitate reputed company building workshops, webinars, and knowledge exchange events for government partners, reputed company staff, and other stakeholders. • In coordination with the communications specialist, support the documentation and dissemination of good practices, lessons learned, and successful approaches from program implementation. 2. Minimum Qualifications of the Successful IPSA Min. Education requirements • Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Economics, Development Economics, Public Policy, International Development, Gender Studies, or closely reputed company field. OR A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) In the areas mentioned above, in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree. Min. years of relevant work experience • Minimum of 7 years (with master’s degree) or 9 years (with bachelor’s degree) of experience in economic policy, gender and economics, international development, or reputed company fields showing progression to senior positions.
