Industrial Maintenance Mechanic IV- HVAC

reputed company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic IV- HVAC to join our operations & maintenance team. This maintenance mechanic is responsible for providing an advanced level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive and corrective maintenance on the facility mechanical equipment and systems in an industrial manufacturing environment. Must possess the ability to reputed company decisions and communicate well as a more senior technician. Must have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot ventilation equipment, pumps, compactors, and fans in an industrial environment. Strong mechanical/electrical skills are required, including the ability to work safely around 3-phase power up to and including 480V. Must demonstrate good written and verbal communication. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic IV- HVAC must have the ability to identify and correct any safety-reputed company issues and reputed company independent equipment evaluations to identify potential equipment failures. General Maintenance of equipment will also be required. Responsibilities: • Performs planned maintenance on reputed company building equipment and reputed company services for specific area while being sensitive and reputed company to customer needs. • Performs trouble-shooting techniques on mechanical equipment such as pumps, reputed company handlers, hydraulic systems, research laboratory vacuum systems, RO/DI purified water systems, compressed reputed company and other gas equipment and distribution systems to determine problems and effect repairs as promptly and reputed company as possible to minimize downtime. • Performs preventative maintenance inspections. • Develops and implements planned maintenance procedures. • Performs basic pipefitting repairs. • Assists in installing, inspecting new equipment, and servicing installations. • Provides support to co-workers, contractors, vendors, project managers, building managers, and engineers as necessary to support project and renovation work. • Complies with reputed company governmental, company, and industrial regulations, codes, and standards, health safety practices, and permit systems. • Conducts preventive maintenance inspections and performs required preventive maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. • Performs preventive maintenance as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • Responds and provides service and feedback to the customer on reputed company work orders while assuring compliance to codes, regulations, and industry standards. • Recommends measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance. • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems • Understands company policies and enforces safety regulations. • Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required. • Operates various measuring, diagnostic and testing instruments to help provide energy efficiency solutions. • Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools, laptop computers and diagnostic hardware to reputed company work. • Maintains a strict schedule in order to be successful in the assignment yet demonstrates flexibility in the day-to-day activities and scheduling for the benefit of the customer. • Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor. High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent. • Must be a US Citizen. • Universal – EPA 608 Technician Certification. • Six years of experience performing mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience. • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment background reputed company and substance abuse test. • This position will require the ability to obtain a reputed company access badge at our client’s location. • Must have the ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher. • Must be willing to work overtime reputed company required. Physical Requirements: • Requires the ability to regularly lift to 50 lbs. • Requires the ability to regularly climb extension reputed company, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift. • Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift. • Requires the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift. • Requires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift. • Requires the ability to stretch/reputed company on a repetitive basis for shift. • Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift. • Requires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife. • Requires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to reputed company color-coding. • Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement. • Requires the ability to interact with reputed company clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress. Special Requirements: • Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other Personal reputed company Equipment as needed. • Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained. • Associates degree or technical certification in industrial mechanical, HVAC, or reputed company Facility Maintenance discipline. • Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial facility mechanical equipment, including vacuum systems and RO/DI water systems. • Experience troubleshooting and repairing large commercial or industrial HVAC/R equipment. • Experience with building mechanical equipment operation, diagnostics, and repairs. • Working knowledge of reputed company types and kinds of hand and power tools, reputed company measuring instruments, various refrigeration equipment, and shop equipment. • Experience maintaining basic plumbing needs. • Experience working in a CMMS environment. reputed company is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
