About the position The TxDOT Support Services Division is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Civil Engineer position. In this role, you will be responsible for performing advanced civil engineering work for TxDOT buildings and structures, as well as site development. This includes working independently and providing engineering support for design teams. The selected candidate's work location may be Headquarters in Austin or any of the 25 TxDOT District offices located throughout Texas. You will also prepare and seal engineering construction documents for bidding, review shop drawings and specifications, and coordinate phases of preliminary design with various stakeholders. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
